General | Mob Psycho 100 Cross-Over Gravity Falls 20-05-2023

*slap hand on table* #mp100 x Gravity Falls AU!!!!

Mob and Ritsu has Dipper and Mabel, going to [enter town name] in the middle of butt fuck nowhere to visit a relative.

And they meet Reigen (has grunkle Stan) who owns the Spirit and such Shack, which is a tourist trap.

Reigen who was mostly living a normal life, scamming people out of their money with his tricks and lies, doesn't realise that where he lives is actually filled with weird creatures and spirits that aren't he fake thing eh presents.

Mob who drags him around on adventures believing this man can also use psychic powers like him and can show him stuff. Ristu who follows along because he doesn't trust Reigen one bit (but still ends up having un none the least).

I think Ekubo could be Bill Cipher, minus the whole "wanting to murder everyone, the pines especially". Make him a spirit that wants a cult and is trying to get Mob to help him throughout the story instead, of tricking him and stuff.

Shou as a Pacifica kind of character, although probably not as snob as she is.

I wonder how the other could be included 🤔 I think Tome and everyone else could be friends they make along the way.

Could see Reigen saying this in that AU. Make his life a bit harder than canon mobsai, although maybe not on the same level as Stan

Finale Spoilers

This page is what broke me when I was reading the manga. 

Reigen never knew. He knew that Mob has lost control of his powers because Mob had told him about it when they had met

However, he never saw ??? in action. Ristu has seen ???. Teru has. Dimple has. We, the audience, have. Hell, even Touichirou can relate because he knows what it's like to have your psychic powers consume you and lose control of your body. But Reigen? This is the possibly first time he has even thought of this happening to Mob. On a surface level, he has no frame of reference for what is happening to Mob.

Despite this, in the end it was Reigen who dealt the final blow to stop Mob’s rampage. He did so the only way he knew how: by telling the truth. 

Whether or not Mob knew that Reigen was lying, before all this, doesn’t matter because the main point of Reigen saying he doesn’t have psychic powers was to help Mob realize that he isn’t alone when it comes to having a hidden side or a different identity. 

Everyone has or has had a part of himself they didn’t like. Reigen didn’t have the guts to let others see that part of himself before...

But to help Mob, he let Mob see that part of himself. He did it to push Mob to accept ??? as being a part of the rest of Kageyama Shigeo.

Ekumob: Ristu kills someone, 「Mouth Dreams」, AND Greed thing please uwu

putting 「Mouth Dreams」 on the list was a mistake. everyone wants to hear abt it

remember that idea i had a while back like " since Father seems chiller after he reabsorbs Greed, what if the original Greed we see isn't actually the original and Greed has run off and been remade multiple times actually :3c"? that's the Greed thing

Greed is born fully formed and with a purpose.

His father doesn't tell him and he doesn't ask. Greed simply does what he was made to.

It takes a while to clean up all the humans huddled together in the corners, but he does it, without thanks, and things slow down.

It's quiet under the earth and very little changes.

One day he decides to stop cleaning up the animals that accidentally fall in, and instead lift them out through the nearest source of light. It's not like the creatures can tell on them.

The animals don't like him, but they can't hurt him, so it's fine. It's just something to do.

One day he comes across a little orange cat. It mews pathetically and drags one of its legs as it walks. He almost goes to pick it up when he hears a voice from above.

ok i don't rly have anything written down for Ekumob: Ristu kills someone in a way that makes sense to anyone other than myself so here's the gist

Mob and Dimple are a couple <3 but keeping it a secret from everyone else bc Look At Them. Mob lets Dimple regularly possess him for cute date reasons But Also sometimes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) reasons. they don't, nor does anyone in their social circle, know that regular demonic possession can trigger subtle physical changes in the host. this goes unnoticed for some time

Shou pops by the Kageyama household one day to hang w his buddy Ritsu! he doesn't see Mob all that often and therefore hasn't slowly been acclimatized to the changes like everyone else. i also headcanon that he's specifically good w auras bc of his and his dad's power transfer abilities, so he pulls Ritsu aside like "hey is your bro sick or something??? his aura is fucked??"

Ristu starts to notice things. he informs everyone else and they also start to notice things. the gang grabs local spirit expert (and known freak) Matsuo and confront them, as everyone believes Dimple is manipulating Mob in some way

cue rapid fire damage control. Matsuo thinks it's v cute and wants to hear all abt it <3 but also if you two need any tips feel free to let him know-- some of the heat is taken off of Mob after Tome is like "your taste is awful but *dramatic sigh* i can't rly blame you. after all, who among us wouldn't jump at the chance to have sex w a supernatural entity??" multiple characters don't make eye contact for a week

Kageyama Brothers | Mob Psycho 100 Age Swap AU 23-10-2022

I finish a good ageswap 1529 mobrei fanfic where they get caught making out in Ritsu's apartment.

with Ritsu who's really mad about it and goes "I know you're not good with social cues, but /this/ ain't it, I know it feels right to follow what someone you trust tells you to do, but you need to understand this isn't right and to make it right by stopping this right now" while buttoning up his shirt again as he's trying to be patient with him despite the situation.

And this just gave me this Kageyama brother dynamic for Age Swap AU:

Ritsu who borderline baby Mob despite him nearing 30 yo, believing his brother is just that clueless about all social things despite his age. Acting as if he can't see right from wrong just like a kid

Mob who's actually very aware of a lot of social views, cues and what is right or wrong. It's /because/ he has always struggled to grasp them correctly that he looks into it deeply and researches it makes sure he can act as normal as he could do. He's very aware of them.

I just think it could be such an interesting dynamic and thing to play with, where Mob *did* put the work into getting better with social cues, learning what is and isn't acceptable and society's unwritten rule.

Meanwhile, Ritsu hasn't stopped to look at him *properly* and still sees him as the young pre-teen who's scared of his own power and clueless about how the world around them works, who needs to be protected, to be shown and told what is right and was is wrong

Just the idea of this urge gap between them, where one does his best at bettering himself despite still struggling at times, while the other brush all that off and refuse to see how much he changed.
